Cutting edge technology and mobile devices form the backbone of the Airparks infrastructure with employees having access to mobile devices to communicate and to carry out the day to day tasks of the business. Some of the mobile devices they operate include; Apple iPod Touch, iPad, iPhones and Android tablets.
Airwire has been built on a secure cloud environment that allows direct access from devices within the company but not from the outside world. Cloud applications benefit from unlimited scalable resources to handle peak demand. Cloud applications do away with up-front hardware and maintenance costs.

Based on the requirements Airparks had set us we concluded that a cloud based responsive web application would best suit their needs. A web application would allow the communications portal to function across many different platforms, without the code having to be altered or ported.
Airparks' reliance on mobile devices dictated that the portal needed to be responsive. Designing with one screen size or device in mind would have increased the development time, the budget and increased maintenance costs further down the line when the portal needed to be updated.
We set about building a clear navigation structure for the portal to ensure the staff would be able to find the content they were looking for quickly and effeciently.
The Airwire web application was extremely well received by the staff and management at Airparks. Quickly becoming an integral part of the day-to-day operations at the company. The clear navigation structure that we designed, with clear icons denoting each section of the portal, allow staff to find the information they need and not get lost in different levels of content.
Airwire has changed the way the staff and management communicate policies, procedures and company news. As a result of Airwire being a cloud based responsive web app communication can take place on any device and in any location. The result of this is a better connected and better informed team, focused on delivering great customer service for the company.
